This is not spam, it’s SPAM
I can’t remember where I heard this, but it is good advice. When preparing for presentations, use the acronym SPAM:
Subject – Clearly identify the subject of your presentation. Think through what you will want to cover once you are in front of the client.
Purpose – What is it you expect to accomplish by the end of the meeting?
Audience – Who will be in the meetings? Might there be others involved?
Method – How will you present? Hard-copy presentation? PowerPoint presentation on a laptop, table, video projector? Recorded audio presentation?
Sales are lost when you are not well prepared for the meeting.
