Mother's Day celebrations are getting earlier, OpenTable data indicate

Mother's Day is the busiest restaurant day of the year — and 10 a.m. is increasingly a popular time for reservations, according to a recent survey. A new survey by reservations platform OpenTable found that 10 a.m. has shown the biggest growth as a reservation time on Mother's Day, up 19% in 2024, although noon remained the most popular time for the Mother's Day meal.
