Consumers expect inflation increase amid tariff talks
Sentiment is at its lowest point since July, as consumers feel uncertain about the current state of the economy, according to a Wells Fargo report. Consumers now expect the inflation rate to rise to 4.3%, up from 3.3% the previous month, making for two consecutive months of "uncharacteristically high jumps" in short-term inflation expectations.
