Base pay has grown for restaurant workers: Report

Tipped restaurant workers have seen their base pay grow 66% since January 2020, though tips as a share of income have declined from 67% in August 2021 to 57.4% in September 2024, according to ADP. Despite these shifts, tips remain the primary source of income, with workers earning a median $14.48 per hour in tips as of September.
