E-commerce retail sales advance 2.6% in Q3, exceeding Q2 pace

E-commerce retail sales increased 2.6% in Q3 to $300.1 billion, outpacing the 1.3% growth in total retail sales, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Year-over-year, e-commerce sales rose 7.4%, making up 16.2% of total retail sales during the quarter.
