Gas prices rise as July Fourth travel begins



Gas prices increased by 5 cents to $3.50 per gallon ahead of July Fourth travel, influenced by oil prices surpassing $80 per barrel. Despite higher prices, gas demand fell to 8.96 million barrels per day, with domestic stocks rising to 233.9 million barrels.
