Sell more with co-op



"Co-op is not something to sell, it's a way to sell more, and it's definitely a way to sell more in 2025," was Jeff Schmidt's message during RAB's "Sell More with Co-op" presentation. Here are some other takeaways from the presentation: Why sell co-op? "Because it increases product movement, which increases sales volume and profit margin for both the local retailer and the manufacturer. As an added benefit, your station makes more money and as a third added benefit, you make more money." What not to do: "You can waste a lot of time if you're calling on the wrong prospects or approaching a good prospect with a bad strategy. It's important to work smarter, not harder. You want to know the difference between a good retailer and a not-so-good retailer when it comes to co-op. You want to have a plan for calling on them and you want to do your homework."
