Interest rates of retail credit cards at record high

Retail credit card interest rates have reached a record 30.45%, up from 28.93% last year. Store-only cards now average 31.80%, while co-branded cards average 29.09%. Most retail cards exceed 30%, significantly higher than the national average of 20.78%.
