Mall visits nearing pre-COVID levels

Mall traffic is steadily recovering from COVID-19 impacts, says Placer.ai. Visits were 10.7%-15.3% lower during the pandemic, but by 2023, gaps narrowed to 2.3% below 2019 levels. Open-air centers saw a 1% visit gap, while enclosed malls reduced falloffs to 5.8%.
