Why consumers share data with retailers and what they expect in return
A survey shows 58% of U.S. adults would share data with retailers if provided transparency, security info or loyalty perks. While 37% bought items from personalized recommendations, 58% found these suggestions "creepy." Nineteen percent would never share data.
