Existing-home sales dip in May 2024 as prices hit record high

Existing-home sales dropped 0.7% in May 2024, while the median price reached a record $419,300. Inventory rose 6.7% from April 2024. National Association of Realtors's Lawrence Yun suggests that increased supply will eventually boost sales and stabilize prices.
