2024 ad spending forecast revised upward for the fourth time



Ad industry economist Brian Wieser upgraded the 2024 U.S. ad spending forecast to a 6.3% increase. Excluding political ads, the ad market grew 10.1% in Q1 2024. Political ad spending is projected to reach $15.1 billion, driving total U.S. ad spending to $394 billion this year.
