Nurses union pushes back against AI

The National Nurses Union is calling for the use of artificial intelligence tools in healthcare to be proven safe and equitable before deployment. The union believes that few algorithms currently meet their standard. They also believe adding "unproven" algorithms to electronic health records is not the best way to spend health system resources.
